Fashion is Spinach

You either like it or you don’t.

Or, you either get it or you don’t.

And…as we transition…more covetousness:

Thou Shall Covet

And just discovered a small business in Kansas that make 100% organic linen sheets, bedding — all sorts of things including for baby. Gorgeous.

Divine Feminine fashion forward! I see we have BB (below) in the ever-chic striped boat neck. Well moving on: more than a few DFs represented: Chanel, Hermes, Marc Cross, Gucci, Van Cleef & Arpels….all the great fashion houses…and jewelers…when they were actually great; when they were their own ateliers. Not owned by LVMH and turned into a mish mash of more of the same and mass producing no longer handmade items so that everyone can be a follower and not a trail blazer AND pay a fortune be placed on a year-long waiting list for factory produced. There! I got it out of my system.

“Big names, you know. Chanel, Dior, Lagerfeld, Givenchy, Gaultier, darling. Names, names, names!”

And lest we forget Monica Bellucci’s sublime D&G campaign:

“The seventeenth of March. In other words, spring. Desmond, people who think themselves smart, I mean those in the height of fashion, women or men – can they afford to wait any longer before buying their spring wardrobes?” Collette, Cheri and The Last of Cheri

“All my life I’ve pursued the perfect red. I can never get painters to mix it for me.
It’s exactly as if I’d said, “I want Rococo with a spot of Gothic in it and
a bit of Buddhist temple” – they have no idea what I’m talking about.
About the best red is to copy the color of a child’s cap in any Renaissance
portrait.” Diana Vreeland

As good a quest as any. I urge you to find the perfect red for you and wear it. Red has the densest vibration of all the colors. You wouldn’t think it but red is an excellent neutral and is the leaven in the lump during these colorless winter months. Red gets you noticed if that’s your thing. It has excellent chi energy and red is the color of our root chakra which grounds us to the earth.

Food for thought: “Elegance is refusal.” Diana Vreeland. Take this to heart! And try to exercise this every day – see what happens!
