The phrase first appeared in print in Baudelaire’s piece on the Exposition universelle, 1855, Beaux-arts, anthologized in Curiosités esthétiques. Translation of Baudelaire par lui-même (1952) by Pascal Pia.
A friend reminded me of this quote today, so I thought to change things up from last month, leave a brief post, and wish everyone a happy?

We’ll see what’s next, won’t we?
Hope to write soon!
“Colour is a power which directly influences the soul.” Wassily Kandinsky.

Composition 8, 1923 .
BAM! Good to go!
Great quote by Baudelaire!
Love the art! Never heard of Kandinsky!
when the unpremeditated unconscious strangeness becomes conscious , its strangeness cannot often be interpreted immediately , the mind runs to play catch up and the strangeness can either be terror or intrigue but always an enigma . The conscious mind in pursuit of such things , is a moth to the flame . If the abstract becomes clear and understood it is no longer abstract , it looses its strangeness and becomes familiar , no longer disjointed and fractal but a part of the whole . The last picture , the figure head on the left , pierced by a red ray to wards what resembles a lighthouse within the head , the eclipsed sun , the celestial marriage in the sky or symbolic of the sun, the divine masculine mind entwined with the moon, the divine feminine , the marriage born of the enlightenment , and to the right is the child of the this holy union , they become whole , no longer separated by ignorance , the creative colours and merging of round feminine shapes with the straight lines of the analytical mind , the biblical marriage of the bride, the subconscious , that has been rescued by the enlightened intellect that has overcome linear thought and dogmatic societal programming . It all comes about due to the ray of light , the internal ethereal spirit , the true master , the true leader , that reveals it all within .
Bravo, what necessary phrase…, a magnificent idea.
Nothing to add, just I love to spend time in this website and read every word here.
